Celebration of All Saints/All Souls

It’s time for a forward-looking post. On Sunday, November 4th we’ll celebrate the Feast of All Saints/All Souls. As we do each year, we’ll have a Memory Table. Please bring photos or mementos of your loved ones who have passed to honor them at this celebration. You may also bring flowers or candles or any other item you’d like to include.

Please also keep in mind that Daylight Savings Time also ends on the same Sunday, so remember to set your clocks back one hour before bed on Saturday night, Nov. 3rd.

This celebration is always meaningful for the community. Along with being meaningful in itself, it’s also a signal that we’re rolling down quickly to the end of the church year. Less than three weeks after All Saints/All Souls, it’s Thanksgiving, and the Sunday after Thanksgiving is the last Sunday in the church year.

Yes, you added right. Advent is six weeks away!

Peace, +Cliff and +Janet
