Doing these daily reflections has been such a gift for me. It is every year. But this year I’ve written them as a blog for the first time and my thoughts have reached a much wider audience.
Thank you so much for the many new friends who have decided to follow; and thank you to the friends who know me and have decided to follow; and as always, thanks to the Community of the Incarnation family who listen to me all the time!! Your presence in my life is one of my many blessings.
For those who are joining this more recently, here’s a link to the post where I wrote about counting blessings. I encouraged the readers, and me, to see one specific blessing, write it on a piece of paper, and put the paper in a jar all through Lent.
Here’s a link to that post from Saturday of the Second Week.
It’s not too late to begin. There’s always time to count blessings. As my friend Sheila commented, when you begin counting blessings, it’s easy to begin seeing more.
You are my blessings each day. Without you, I wouldn’t have written each day. Without you, I wouldn’t preach every other week with Cliff. Without you, I wouldn’t be who I am.
So mostly today, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you!
Think about the people who are blessings in your life. Offer your thanks. And the more we say thank you, the more reasons we have.
